On the occasion of the 2024 European Football Championship in Germany, Alstom commissioned us to design a communications campaign. The aim was to give the three selected product lines Digital Solutions, Services and Rolling Stock and Alstom as a leading transport company visibility to internal and external stakeholders. The campaign’s target group was also primarily people who love football and trains.

How did we proceed?

We combined classic campaign elements with new AI methods and integrated various AI tools into the work process at different stages of the campaign’s development. From the booster for brainstorming using Chat-GPT, to the generation of important image elements using Midjourney and to changing the image styles and the final touch up with MagnificAI – the use of AI played a central role in the realization of the campaign motifs.

The campaign was played out on the global LinkedIn company account, on Instagram, on X and Facebook. In addition, the visuals were placed on the global and French websites during the European Championship. In each case, they link directly to the page of the selected product lines.

The results?

The main component of the campaign is the conception and creation of four (4) key visuals (hero images). The content of the visuals reflects Alstom’s three product lines (Digital Solutions, Services and Rolling Stock). In addition, a fourth key visual was created as a transition from the 2024 European Championship to the InnoTrans 2024 trade fair in September.

We have prepared each of the key visuals for use on social media (LinkedIn). In addition, CBE DIGIDEN produced three animated short videos for use on social media and on the website. The short videos each take up a football saying and connect it with the world of trains using images and sound.
