Mobility in a city of millions
17.10.2024Hardly anyone in Berlin and Brandenburg can ignore the company Bombardier Transportation: With trams, numerous S-Bahn and U-Bahn trains, local and long-distance trains and smart e-buses, Bombardier vehicles transport more than a billion people through the capital region every year – and the trend is rising. The company thus makes a significant contribution to the regional mobility network.
In mid-September, in the run-up to the leading international trade fair for transport technology InnoTrans 2018, passengers also got to know the international company as a regional brand. CBE DIGIDEN designed and implemented the PR campaign #mitunsnachwoanders at Berlin’s Ostbahnhof.
Berliners and guests of the city were able to put themselves in the spotlight at the campaign stand with the help of virtual technology and a photo box at selected travel destinations in the region, experience the Bombardier brand – and received a printed photo of themselves at their travel destination. Anyone who also shared the picture with the community on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #mitunsnachwoanders received a day ticket for the entire VBB network on site. A further twenty monthly tickets will be raffled off among all participants in the campaign.
“With this campaign, we want to show passengers what the global brand Bombardier Transportation stands for, which is based in Berlin and moves people all over the world,” emphasized Andreas Dienemann, company spokesman for Bombardier. The company is not only a central mobility service provider, but also an important employer and economic factor in Berlin and Brandenburg.
In keeping with the campaign “Present worldwide. At home in Berlin,” Berlin’s city center was also decorated with printed City Light posters, digital City Light boards and digital poster galleries during InnoTrans. CBE DIGIDEN developed the creative central idea and the campaign concept and is responsible for its implementation.
