For over 10 years, CBE DIGIDEN has been supporting the consortium of the four German transmission system operators (TSOs) 50Hertz, Amprion, TenneT TSO and TansnetBW in the transparent transmission of information on the expansion of the German electricity grid.

Digital integration and convincing network communication

Every two years, the four transmission system operators publish the Network Development Plan (NEP), in which they disclose the expansion needs of the German electricity grid, methods and results. This gives the public the opportunity to consult.

The project is complex in that not only current background information is published, but also future scenarios that are based on the ongoing developments and implementation of the federal government’s climate policy goals. CBE DIGIDEN supports the transmission system operators in communicating this sensitive topic in a transparent and comprehensible manner and in adapting the possibilities for interaction to the current market conditions – in order to really reach all parts of society.

CBE DIGIDEN offers everything from a single source:

Key to success: communication creates trust

With the advancing digital change and the associated new communication channels, the information culture in society is changing. The general public is increasingly getting information digitally and expects even more opportunities for direct exchange.

Through the cooperation between the transmission system operators and CBE DIGIDEN, the quality standards for the current framework conditions of communication are maintained: information is transmitted transparently, participation is guaranteed and trust in the expansion of the electricity grid is strengthened.

CBE DIGIDEN will continue to ensure reliable, transparent, modern and targeted communication and thus create the basis for greater acceptance of the expansion of the electricity grid.
